Services Généraux, (Auto)Portrait

(Auto)Portrait is a way for us to introduce ourselves. It is also an empirical introduction to Services Généraux’s visual and semantic fields. Four motley objects of furniture, infused with desire and euphoria — in regards to shape, matter, and fabrication process. They are manifesto objects, incarnations of Services Généraux’s creative vision.

Envisioned as an invitation for dialogue, these objects are a self-portrait of our practice, our sensibilities, our questions, and our idols. (2018)
